Students can install and download the full version of Compix GenCG, the standard software on all Compix products, on to their own computers. With constant access to the software and CG projects, the students can complete their work at home and save it for playout on the school’s Compix CG system. Because an unlimited number of students can work with the software at once, Compix SchoolSmart may promote more collaborative work among students. Schools can also take advantage of ongoing updates and enhancements to the GenCG software through our Compix Freedom Support Plan.

The integration between Compix and news room control systems (NRCS), such as EZ News or Comprompter, promotes efficient and cost-effective workflow for students’ newscast programs with consistent graphics and branding. Tied into the newsroom system, Compix AutoCast makes it easy for students and staff to create and automate playlists for sports scores, weather, and title information using its intuitive user interface.
