CompixMOS PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS:
|
Simple. Affordable. Efficient.
CompixMOS allows all users within a News Room Computer System (NRCS) environment to directly insert CG events into any news show script.
Reporters, editors, and producers can use CompixMOS to select pre-defined graphic templates then add text, objects, or still images to those graphics - all from within the NRCS rundown script interface.
A library of template thumbnails can be browsed and selected with pre-defined position, font, color, size, and other graphic attributes that create the look needed. The graphic is then available for data entry by the user from any workstation on the NRCS network. The user can also preview what the on-air graphics will look like to verify style and accuracy.
Once the template is completed, it can then be dragged and dropped into a script, which becomes part of the rundown, without requiring any further intervention by technical staff.
CompixMOS with CompixOnAir:
Using the MOS Protocol, a current list of events from within the active show is dynamically transmitted to the CompixOnAir playlist. As stories are moved, added, or deleted by the show producer within the NRCS, the CompixOnAir playlist is automatically adjusted to reflect these changes.
CompixMOS allows anyone in a broadcast newsroom to quickly insert up-to-the-minute news and informational graphics into stories. This enables broadcasters to use the Compix system to automatically play back graphics in real time on the air from any broadcast newsroom.
Currently supported versions of MOS are: MOS 2.8.1 to 2.8.3
Requires purchase of NRCS client software.*
