CompactCG is available in three configurations:

CompactCG HD

Single channel HD-SDI/SD-SDI broadcast graphics system in a compact 1RU chassis. SMPTE 292M/259M compliant I/O. Can be used with or without a video switcher.


CompactCG SD-SDI

Single channel SD-SDI broadcast graphics system in a compact 1RU chassis. SMPTE 259M compliant I/O. Not upgradeable to HD.

CompactCG Analog

Single channel analog broadcast graphics system in a compact 1RU chassis. SMPTE 170M compliant I/O. Not upgradeable to SD-SDI.

Packs Full Sized Punch In a Small Package
Designed for mobile broadcast and OB vans, fly pack systems, portable multi-venue use, and other locations with limited space. The CompactCG is purpose-built with the power of our industry-leading CGs. All the specifications and features you have come to expect in a full size system are in an easy-to-install, 1RU chassis.

Nothing Left Out But the Size
Don't let the small size fool you. The CompactCG has been designed from the ground up to have all the performance capabilities of our 4RU character generator systems. Special attention has been paid to cooling, building with industrial quality hardware, and creating a rugged chassis for every CompactCG. This ensures longevity and a trouble-free performance with no down time. An active input video relay bypass guarantees video pass-thru in case of a power loss. While we were able to squeeze all of these features into one rack unit, we have continued to provide the broadcast quality output Compix customers have come to expect.

Full-Sized Specs and Performance
The CompactCG systems are built to meet the same tough HD-SDI, SD-SDI, and analog (NTSC and PAL) specifications including SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 259M, and SMPTE 170M with embedded audio pass-thru and EIA-608b closed captioning compatibility. An available option is AutoCast, a powerful software that lets you generate and automate graphic playlists. AutoCast integrates text and images from active input fields in pre-defined templates from external files, databases, and live Web site data feeds.
