Packs Full Sized Punch In a Small Package
Designed for mobile broadcast and OB vans, fly pack systems, and portable multi-venue use, or any other application that that doesn’t have a lot of space to waste. The CompactCG is purpose built with the power of our industry leading CG’s, with all of the specs and features you have come to expect in a full size CG, all in an easy to install and get along with 1 RU chassis. Just like its bigger siblings, CompactCG supports 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios, windows MLE multiple language settings and True Type fonts, allowing multilingual support and unlimited font styles.
Nothing Is Left Out But the Size
Don’t let the small size fool you. The CompactCG has been designed from the ground up to have all of the performance capabilities of our 4RU character generator systems. Special attention has been paid to cooling, industrial quality hardware and a bullet proof chassis, all built into every Compact CG to ensure long life and trouble free performance, with no down time. An active input video relay bypass guarantees video pass-thru in case of power loss. And while we were able to squeeze all of this into one rack unit, we have not left out the broadcast quality output Compix customers have become accustomed to.
Full Sized Specs and Performance
The CompactCG systems are built to meet the same tough SD-SDI and analog composite NTSC and PAL specifications including SMPTE 170M, SMPTE 259M with embedded audio pass thru, and EIA-608b closed captioning compatibility. Perfect for channel branding applications, with software options like NewsScroll with RSS, providing the power of multiple crawls, logos, real time clock, live weather updates, ratings, live RSS feeds and more with just a single channel CG. Also available is AutoCast, a powerful software package that lets you generate, then automate, graphic playlists. AutoCast integrates text and images from active input fields in pre-defined templates, from external files, databases, and from live web site data feeds.
