What does Compix ChannelBrander do?

Compix ChannelBrander™ brings your channel to life with great features to keep your audience tuned in. Included are a continuous stream of automatically updating informational tickers and crawls, weather conditions, and Emergency Alerts. ChannelBrander™ uses NewsScroll to offer powerful channel branding and affordable creation of interactive, informational headline feeds. With added tools for creating graphics, such as personalized lower-thirds, broadcasters can easily monetize the on-screen space and increase viewer loyalty.

ChannelBrander is available in three configurations:

ChannelBrander HD
Single channel HD-SDI/SD-SDI broadcast graphics system in a compact 1RU chassis. SMPTE 292M/259M compliant I/O. Can be used with or without a video switcher.

 

ChannelBrander SD-SDI
Single channel SD-SDI and Analog broadcast graphics system in a compact 1RU chassis. SMPTE 259M compliant I/O. Can be used with or without a video switcher. Not upgradeable to HD.

ChannelBrander Analog
Single channel analog composite, component and Y/C broadcast graphics system in a compact 1RU chassis. SMPTE 170M compliant I/O. With video, key, and internal video overlay. Can be used with or without a video switcher. Not upgradable to SD-SDI.

What does Channel Brander provide?

With flexible options for putting targeted and personalized content on-screen, users can add crawls, logos, and more – all on a single channel system. ChannelBrander™enables si multaneous display of two independent crawls that automatically draw data from text files updated manually or automatically. Users can go to news, sports, weather, and financial data websites to link their RSS feeds in Channel-Brander™
With two static or animated logos, one can be used to display your station’s logo and the other as your sponsor’s logo, providing ways to increase your overall revenue stream. Every ChannelBrander™ system comes equipped with a real-time clock, Data Box which can be updated from the Web, and a text field for instant updates. Users can save the positioning and attributes of each item on the video output screen, making recall fast and easy. The playlists can be modified and scheduled for a specific time.
In addition to ticker, logo, and branding display capabilities, ChannelBrander™ interfaces with broadcast automation systems, news data services, and Emergency Alert Systems through a growing list of partners.
