“…Just looking at the interface of the GenCG program I have no doubt it will be an easy transition for the students and me.”
Clayton High School of St. Louis, Missouri, purchased a Compix ConverG1 HD system featuring full HD production capability to incorporate in their Video Student Production class for the 2011-2012 school year. The school is in the process of completing a construction project throughout campus that includes the new broadcast studio for their Video Student Production class. They worked with systems integrator Roscor Corporation to complete their studio and upgrade to HD by adding a Compix ConverG1 HD and other new HD broadcast equipment.
Like with all Compix products, the ConverG1 HD offers a fast learning curve with its ease of operation. With GenCG, Compix’s standard software, students are able to create professional-looking graphics and take them to air in a matter of seconds. Mrs. Stricker, the Video Student Production teacher, says she is excited to use the Compix ConverG1 HD for the new school year. “Although the Compix system is completely new to us, just looking at the interface of the GenCG program I have no doubt it will be an easy transition for the students and me.”

Mrs. Stricker also mentioned the installation of the Compix ConverG1 HD into their new studio will be a great addition to their School TV station, Greyhound News Network (GNN). This will give a more professional look to their daily shows which include: Student Features, Daily Announcements, Bulletin Boards, and Sports Packages.
