Subscription Terms
To be eligible to obtain a subscription license, you must:
- Be an accredited educational institution.
- Be a registered owner of a Compix Media character generator.
- Fill out and submit the form below.
Subscription Restrictions
The right to use GenCG-RS is limited as follows:
- Compix Media does not transfer the ownership right in any software and we reserve all rights not expressly granted.
- Neither subscribing institutes nor their users may transfer software licenses to other organizations or users not directly affiliated with the registered Compix Media GenCG-RS subscriber.
Subscription Transfers
Subscribing educational institutes may not transfer or otherwise assign a subscription agreement to any third party, except by the express prior written consent of Compix Media.
Subscription Term
The subscriber's license rights become effective on the specified date of enrollment and continue during the licensed period. In the event of misuse or illegal distribution of Compix Media software or activation codes by a licensed institution, Compix Media reserves the right to terminate the violator's license before the end of the license period.
Subscription Renewal
Subscribing educational institutions may renew license coverage by simply re-applying online at the end of their subscription term. Renewal is free of charge.
Limited Software Warranty
We warrant that each version of our software will perform substantially in accordance with our user documentation. This warranty does not apply to the failure of software due to accidents, abuse, or misapplication. With the sole exception of technical support services available to the registered owners of Compix Media character generators, technical or other support services are not available to individual student users of GenCG-RS software under this subscription license agreement.
License Subscription Cost
The GenCG-RS software subscription is provided as a service by Compix Media at no charge to eligible educational institutions.
